Erythronium revolutum or Dog Tooth Violets

This flower is with slightly reflexed pink petals one of the little joys of spring is when the Dog Tooth Violets come into flower.  At first their glossy green marbled leaves appear and then these beautiful flowering stems emerge. They're native flowers in the USA and cherished so much in UK gardens.Photo Credit: Rosie Nixon
